In Singapore is always feel like Home. Really

June 25th, 2007 by liaoizm1982

Whenever I return to Singapore from overseas, the moment I stepped out from the plane and look at the nice blue sky… I always know in my heart that I am back home again. Not bluffing anyone who is reading but I always have this feeling. The blue sky and the superior air quality I miss while I am in overseas is definitely irreplaceable. More than 13 years of stay in Singapore has totally changed myself into someone else. Someone who wasnt borned here but yet have grown up to be what I am today. Though agreed that I am not as fantistic in the academic area but I have somehow learned and picked up the values, moral, character, etc. Therefore, it is always quite "sad" to go overseas. Hahaa… Partly also coz the memories that I have had and not wanting to let it slowly fading away as I grow. Miss it all man…

En-Block… My Singapore’s home

May 28th, 2007 by liaoizm1982

This is a shocking news I received when I called back home today (28/05). I was thinking wow… Now it’s my family turn… hahaa.. But Hmm… It seems like it comes at the right time coz as what my mum told me, water is leaking at my sis’s toilet whenever her tap opens and this show how old is my Singapore home is like. I think it is 14 yrs old this yr I guess. But for those who have been to my Singapore home, I think we will not be able to find any other condo as big as ours now if my parents decide to en-bloc with the rest of the owners. Sigh… Anyway, I am thinking I just have move into a new home in HK and now… I am asking myself if it will be en-bloc soon… Am I ready for another house moving again? Hahaa.. Coz there are so many things to do and re-pack into a new home… So.. I am thinking… Sigh… Will I be "recall" back? Kekeee… Sound like my In camp training. But what is the secret code? Need to ask my dad I think… Hahaaa… But anyway, I will be back next Fri, maybe my dad will tell me more on that and… I may instead go around and see any new home in my neighbourhood with my parents. So, to my friends, be ready for my new Singapore address.

Coming back on the 8th June

May 23rd, 2007 by liaoizm1982

To all my dear friends

I will be coming back on the 8th of June and stay over in Singapore till 4th July. This time round, I am coming back for my In camp training and happy to say, I am back to the lifestyle I used to have while I stayed in Singapore. Hahaaa.. Anyway, miss hanging out with friends for meal and movies, playing pool with my bro, hanging out with my families. Miss these outings so much. Kekee… Cant wait for that day to come man… But of course, after I am back to Hong Kong, there are plenty of work to do I believe…

Finally moved into my new home at Tsing Yi

May 17th, 2007 by liaoizm1982

Hi to all… Finally, most of the things are done in my new home. Didnt really realise that moving house is not as easy as I thought it was to be… AND… By the way, I lost a shoe while I moved my stuffs from my grandma place to my new home and I only realised that when my mum asked me where was the other shoe. Hahaa…

Anyway, back to the topic. Though everything are mostly done up. BUT I think one of the most challenging task after I move in is doing housework. Today (17/05), I finally have a taste of being a "Housewife" and frankly speaking. I have the most respect to my mum and all the housewifes who are doing a great job at home while their husband are out in the office. Not to mention those housewife who need to work in the day and take care the house at night. Doing housework is not easy as I think. Got to wash, clean, mop, tiddy up, etc… And for someone like me who need to work in the day, I only have time for housework only when I am back home which is around 1900hrs. Imagine at that kind of timing, I should be resting at home after a tiring day at office and yet… what is in my mind when I am back is housework. I find that though, it is only a week after I moved in… Housework is always the first thing in my mind when I am back home. Sigh… So sad to say. Hahaa… Hope it will not affect me that much.. Kekee…

Hmm… But definitely, though staying all by myself does give me more privatcy but there are things that give me some inconvenience. That’s definitely my meals. As I have very limited knowledge in cooking… I can only rely on my (Mum side) grandparent and aunt during dinner time. And of course, sometime I will visit my (Father side) grandma after work and at the same time, have dinner at her place. Sigh… Hmm… Maybe it is an opportunity for me to learn how to cook some dishes… But at least I know, my breakfast will never be a problem coz breakfast usually tend to be quick simple. So, not that much of a problem afterall.. kekeee…

Hmmm… Maybe when I have time, will take some pictures of my new home to show to all. In the mean time, got to sleep. It is getting late and got to work in few hours time.

Moving in to my new home @ Tsing Yi on this Thurs (10/05)

May 8th, 2007 by liaoizm1982

Yeah… This will definitley be a busy week for me as I will be moving out from my grandma place to my new home at Tsing Yi. A lot of stuffs need to bring over and now… While I am typing this blog, I am scatching my head how to put all my stuffs in my two suitcases. Hahaa… Anyway, that also mean I will have no internet access for a while as I need to relocate my internet. Hmm… Will keep you all update with photos of my new home. Hopefully once everything are settling down. Cheers.

Yeah… Have been quite sometime didnt write any blog over here. Seem to be quite lazy these few days. But… cant blame. Have been very busy with a lot of stuffs. 1st to begin with is my work. Hmmm… Have been quite busy sending fabric samples to my clients and it is definitely nice to receive some good news from them which for some, they do. So, it is not that day. Currently, the biggest sales that I am involve is an enquiry from India. A client of mine from India has dropped me an email and provide quotation for one of the contract that they are bidding from Carrefour. The quantity that they are talking abt is 100000+ but in order to do business with these big companies, they demand a high standard in the finishing of the fabrics like Actifresh finishing from Sanitized. A type of fabric finishes that help to prevent odour and bateria. By the way, this contract is on bedsheet and their require width is 120". Also double the kind of width that my company is doing. Haha… But definitely not a problem to do… Just a matter of $$$… Whether my quotation work for them.

2nd is my new home in HK. Hmmm… really cant wait to move in man… Hahaa.. really. I am so excited. Partly coz I have been involve in most of the purchasing of big items like furnitures and soon… A LCD TV which I am considering now is to get is the Samsung F series 40" BUT the price tag is damn "heavy". Even though it comes with a free samsung camera… But i would rather it becomes a cash rebate instead. Haahaaa… Now, beside the LCD TV, the last big item to get is my sofa and I can conclude my shopping list. It will left with the fact of scheduling when these contractors coming in with all my items as my house renovation work is halfly done.

Looking back, have been in HK for abt 6 mths liao. Getting used to this new environment and of course, I can say I quite like the lifestyle here but… I still find Singapore a better place to stay coz of the blue sky that always greet me when I wake up. Really… excluding those days when it is rainning or the Indonesia haze… In fact, Singapore is far more a better place to stay. Just that in term of work and career opportunities, I must agree that HK is ahead in this area partly coz of the "Awaking Dragon" in the North. Hmmm… Anyway, after much calculation, I think I will return to Singapore at least 3 times a year. 1st is during Chinese New Year, 2nd is during the Qing Ming festival and 3rd is during my In camp training season. Hahaa… See how loyalty I am hor… Purposely return back for my ICT hor… Kekeee… Actually it does give me a break from work since I am in HK… my health is not as gd as I was in Singapore. The doctor diagnosed that I need to take time out to relax and not to stress myself and my mind up so much… Which… Hmmm… I am thinking… How stress am I per day. Haahaaa… Saying that doesnt mean I do nothing in Office hor. Hahaaa…. Anyway, maybe falling in early will help to reduce stress in me which I need to do now… Coz it is 2330hrs now and I got to wake up at 0800hrs tomorrow morning… … Time to ZzZzzzzz… … …

I am back

April 6th, 2007 by liaoizm1982

Wow… It is always nice to be back. From the moment the plane about to land, I can feel the heat is there all season… And that’s where I know I am in SIngapore. Hahaa… Quite true… Still remember the day I come back. Early in the monring, the weather in Hong Kong was damn cold… Only abt 15 to 17 degree C. Yet, I know that since I am coming back to Singapore, I somehow "risk" to wear thin… W/o much thick clothing except my suit. When the chilling cold wind hit me… Hahaa… I was wondering do I need to head back home for somemore clothing… Anyway, luckily my grandma place is very near to MTR station. What I need to do is just bear with it with that short distance between the house and the station. Going to Hong Kong Airport is always a very nice experience. Partly coz the airport express train is specially cater for this. The seating are something like comparing to first classs seat in plane. So comfortable…

Going back to Singapore 06 - 10 Apr

April 5th, 2007 by liaoizm1982

Yeah, another trip back to Singapore. But this time, round, I believe I will be pretty busy here. Coz once touch down, I will need to meet a Singaporean client of my company to follow up on his sampling. His client is not satisfy with the sampling we sent and got to do some "physcoing"… hahaa… Anyway, I will be meeting Isa as well. Her parents are planning to do some textile trading and they are planning to see any cooperation between our company and theirs. So, this time round, not really a holidays to me afterall.

First tried on upcoming Command & Conqueor game

March 21st, 2007 by liaoizm1982

Wow… is the only word I use to describe what I feel after I tried the C & C 3 Demo. It is really shiok and they have added in more adanvce and real life tactics. The most amaze thing I find is that Infantry from GDI actually dig foxhole! I was so surprise when I press that button and in fact, the grp infantry really dig and within 30 secs I think, they have a sandbag fortress. Hahaa… It does remind me the time I had when I was serving my National Service. To conclude, hmmm… it is definitely an exciting and worth waiting for. Do grab yours once release for those who are C & C fans.

Tired?

February 28th, 2007 by liaoizm1982

Hmm… these few days I feel a bit strange. Hahaa.. Partly coz of my senitive nose… I guess. After 11 days in Singapore, coming back to HK is a torture? Hahaaa… Coz the weather here is still windy and highest temp is abt 20 degree C. Anyway, guess I got to get use to it as I am working in Hk. Miss the fresh air I had when I was in Singapore. Kekeee… Hopefully my health will get better soon when summer comes.
