Lunar New Year holidays aftermath
I always get so excited when holidays seasons come. Especially those long PHs, wow man… For Lunar New Year, being consider as a "Hong Kong" foreign imported worker or to say it simple, foreign worker, I always enjoy the long holidays. Aside from the 3 days official holidays on the calendar, my company announced an extra week off!!! That’s mainly coz my industry is very heavily rely on China factories and Lunar New Year holidays in China are even longer. Given the fact that it is once every year all type of workers return home for reunion. Anyway, Wow.. to me, that’s where I will "fight" to book an air ticket back to Singapore for reunion as well. Of course, there are some disadvantages… That’s mean plenty of following up to do. And it has been about two weeks since I started work after the Lunar New Year holidays, I start to feel exhausted… Oh my gosh… Still long way to go before the next Lunar New Year holidays. Hahaaa…. Thinking about 2008 Lunar New Year, I think time flies. Whenever Lunar New Year comes, beside looking forward to long holidays, that’s also mean I will be another year older coz my birthday fall after the Lunar New Year (Abt 15 days later). Just wondering how my mum spent her Lunar New Year in 1982… Hahaa… Big stomach and visiting my relatives from house to house I guess… For this year, I starting to realise that time flies very fast!!! Super fast… So do inflation rate in all countries… BUT why my saving doesnt catch up with the pace??? Well, at least my CPF does make me feel comfort a bit.. But I can only use that sum of money when I am going to retire and now… My government is planning to raise the retirement age… I just wonder if I can live till that age or not!!! Hahaaa… Anyway, look at the bright side and you know… As the song goes by "Always look on, the bright side of life"… Something like that… Hopefully I will and you know… Problems less in work and many many $$$ comes!!!
