No to Coffee at the moment

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

Sigh… Dont know what happened… Today I drank a cup of coffee and I started to feel strange. A little bit of dizzy… And even more tired instead of more awake. Maybe coz I have recently change brand I think… Those coffee powder that my mum gave me from Singapore have all finished. So I got this Nestle 3-in-1 coffee mix from 百佳 supermarket in HK. Dont know whether I not used to it or something else.. Quite scare coz recently HK has a lot of food problems. Eggs and fishes are tested contain harmful chemical which can lead to cancer if consume in high amount. 腐竹 also… Sigh… Sad… My fav egg tart…

Textile course

Friday, November 24th, 2006

This time, I have enrolled a textile course in HK Productivity Council. The name of the course is quite long. Haha… Diploma Course in Practical Knowledge and Quality Management for Textiles and Clothing. It is a short course. The duration is 25/11/06 to 23/04/07, abt half a yr. So, actually when I receive my Advanced Dip in Strategic Marketing from SP next yr, I will have a total of 3 Diploma qualification. Hmm… Sound quite good. Frankly speaking, I did consider for a University study. But I need a commitment of at least 3 yrs or 4 yrs of studying and by then, I will be 28 or 29… So I feel that it will be slow for me to start my career. Anyway, it is always up to each individual lah. But one thing I must admit is that I am not good in study.

Need For Speed: Carbon (Completed)

Tuesday, November 21st, 2006

Yeah… I have completed the game liao… Haha.. Bought the game on 13/11/2006 and today, 20/11/2006 I completed the Career Mode. Think this time round, beside the last Boss race which is quite tough to win, other races are quite average. Still cant forget the way I won the last boss. In the Canyon races, after a few restart (Oopsss… Hahaa.. I said before. the last boss race is tough), I finally at one turn towards the ending, successfully overtook him and drove on for 10 secs. A big surprise for me that I could make a successful overtake.

Anyway, what I find different is that it is unlike the NFS: Hot Pursue. After the game is complete, there is no police chase. Ya, one thing I must agree is that this time, the police are smarter. They can bang on ur car really hard and when they attack in a grp, Hahaa… Better prey hard not to get bust. My Skyline get imbound twice coz of that and I have to spend extra to get another one so that it wont tow away by police when I use that car. Anyway, still have plenty more task to complete but afterall, I do have fun playing the game but dont know why, I cant get to buy the Audi car in the career mode. Maybe when I start a new career.

Totally Drenched…

Tuesday, November 21st, 2006

Sigh… First time ever I experience the rain in HK. I am not referring to the Korean Singer "Rain" but the rain from nature. Hahaa… Today, it was a cloudy and fall abit of rain in the afternoon. But when it was time to knock off, abt 1700hrs plus, it started to rain. Not so heaily but it came with winds. Until the time which I knocked off at 1830hrs, it poured like cats and dogs. Nevermind, coz I brought my umbralla. But it was the strong wind that caused the most damage. The wind blew from my right to left and left to right and no one will ever use their own umbralla just to cover their legs. In the end, that half a kilometer of walk from my office to KCR station (九广西铁) became an early bath which I was not looking forward to. Sigh… Sad… Now, I am thinking whether can I wear my working shoe to work tomorrow… Still havnt dry yet… When I reached home, then I know, it was my first time to experience Cat Yellow (黄色警告) which means for median rain. Cat Black (黑色警告) means heavy rain and all pple should stay indoor. How I hope tomorrow morning I wake up and I see this in the news. No work for me. Hahaa…

After a tiring day (17/11/06)

Sunday, November 19th, 2006

Yeah… On Friday, after a tiring working week where I start to get busier as days go by, I visited this Sauna centre at MongKok at night. I came across this Sauna centre from a magazine which show some of the good Sauna places between Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Macau. At first, when I bought this magazine, I expect it to be mostly recommending good Sauna places in Hong Kong… In the end, it only showed one and the rest are shared by Shenzhen and Macau. Sigh… Expect me to go so far just for a Sauna…

Anyway, after I reached MongKok by MTR, I didnt expect the MTR exit at E1 was so fully packed!!! I think I took abt 5 to 10 mins to exit from the station. Think maybe coz it was a Friday night. What I funny abt it was a guy behind me was talking on the phone and I somehow overheard his conversation saying that "In this kind of packed environment, I am trying my best not to let my hand become 咸猪手" Haha… Coz it is quite easy for girl to acurse a guy molesting.

Once I reached the Sauna place, it does remind me of the one in Singapore at the Chinese Badminton Hall. Just that in term of layout, it is not that similar. I went to took a bath first and once I finished, I was directed to the dinning hall where I can sit and relax and enjoy a drink. Once they are prepared, they will call me into the room for massage. Hmm… The experience is quite good afterall. Though the environment may not be that good as that I had in Singapore, but I feel totally relax and enjoy the lady who massage me. One point to note is that I think the lady weight is abt 50+… Coz when she stepped on my back, I can feel the weight is quite heavier… Sorry to say that… Hahaa…

Anyway, after I finished the massage, I know why my friends say they like the night life in HK. I can see it after I had my massage. I went around window shopping in MongKok… I can see quite a few girls alone who are quite pretty and whether they are single I am not so sure… Even when they are in a grp with all girls… Some of their look is pretty! Hmmm… Maybe I should start planning every Friday head down to MongKok for some recce. Hahaa…

It’s getting cold now…

Sunday, November 19th, 2006

Sigh… of all things… Cold is one thing that I am quite afraid of. Really. I can scare I am scare of cold. Like now… there is a weather changes in HK and what I hate to see is skin on both of my hand starts to peel off. Sigh.. Whenever touch water, sometimes it is quite pain. Too used to Singapore weather liao lah!!! This such skin "changing" season has been long lost since I mirgated to Singapore. Hahaa… But now I am tasting it again. How I hope I will be on the plane that my grandparents (Mama side) taking on 27 Nov. They are going back to Singapore!!! Sad… :(

Getting cold now…

Wednesday, November 15th, 2006

It is getting cold here in HK… Temperature falls to 21 to 25 degree C. Erm.. for someone like me, I am very scare of cold. I dont mind having a hot weather but definitely not cold weather. Way before the winter season is approaching, I have already well-prepare for it. Coz in my office, the air-con is damn terrible. Not that it always break down, but it is always so cold. And my seat is two junction where two air-cons blow directly at… Sigh… So, imagine I have to wear windbreaker whenever in office. Another thing that I am not use to it is my skin on my hand starts to peel off… Sometimes, whenever I bath, I can feel this pain like a needle on my hand. Sigh.. Maybe I get to use to the all summer season in Singapore liao… Better start planning if I need to get anymore clothing for myself. Otherwise, I will suffer in cold man… hahaa…

Need For Speed: Carbon

Tuesday, November 14th, 2006

Yeah… After the release of Need for Speed Most Wanted, EA has just released their next new Need for Speed game called Need For Speed: Carbon. The gameplay is not much different from the previous one but with more new things! You can have up to 3 crews in ur team to assist you in the race and now, the whole town is divided by territories. Of course, not to mention that the police is still there to make the whole game more exciting.

I got this game yesterday (13/11/2006) and as I am not used to playing racing game with keyboard, I bought myself a gamepad. Sigh… another whole in my wallet… If I were in Singapore, I will buy the Xbox version but coz now I am in HK and I only have my laptop with me, so I have to buy the PC version. But not bad, the gameplay is excellent just that once in a while, I feel that the road may be too wide as I can drift easily while making turns. But, need time to get used to the new gameplay.. Dont know how to get new crew into my team… Hahaa… Some upgrade need particular crew then I can purchase… Damn it! Haha.. But one problem I encounter while I want to play the game is that some background task may disallow the game to load properly. Got to delete some in order to play… Quite troublesome.. Haha.. If Xbox, no problem. Haahaaa

Singapore GST increase!

Monday, November 13th, 2006

Wow… That’s a shocking news I read from Channel News Asia website today. From the present 5% to 7% soon… Sigh.. sian… That mean I have to pay more liao. Fortunately, HK has no GST. Haha… Can enjoy my shopping in HK.. Just that I have the currency convertion to take note of and the admin charges from withdrawing cash from Singapore account… Sob..
