What will you do if you were me?
Saturday, May 6th, 2006Almost every Sunday, I will join my dad for a morning walk at east coast park and take our breakfast at Coffeebean & Tea Leaf at east coast. So happen that today, when I was having my breakfast, I saw this pity stray cat, looking helplessly at a family of four who were enjoying their meal. It definitely look hungry and the more I look at the cat, the more I feel sympathy. With the innocent look that it gives, it touched my heart and before I left Coffeebean, I actually bought two sausages for her which I wrap it with some tissue papers to prevent the sausages getting dirty. Though, I not sure it suits her taste or not as I requested the crew to just warm it up but it end up they microwaved and toasted a bit. It definitely smell good but whether she like the taste, I doubt it makes any differences.
I actually feel shameful that as a human beings, there are people who can do this to animals. Adopting them when they have the mood and once that mood is over, simply get rid of them by leaving them in the streets. Begging for food… let their days be numbered in this manner. Frankly speaking, if I ever living in a landed property, I will definitely adopt her home. At this point, I also hope that all my friends will do the same, not that adopting them home but at least feel pity for them and provide them with some help like giving them some food. At least they will feel warmth, being love as well as taking care of. Thanks.
