It’s 21 Apr 06 n my bro is the 3rd male enlisting into NS in the family line. It is a different feeling for him n myself when we entered to Pulau Tekong. He will be encountering a new expereince in his life. As for myself, those memories that I had when I was still a Recuit. Afterall, it is a process that every Singaporean male must take.

The day was quite a hot one n along the way, I can see that my bro dont seem to be comfortable at 1st. But luckily he make friend with a guy sitting next to him while we were taking the shuttle bus from Paris Ris interchange to Tekong ferry terminal. Just that how I hope he will evenually know one of this guy whose sister (I think so.. hopefully not gf) is quite chio/pretty… Have notice her quite a while n happened to see one another in a few occassions.

Beside the incident I mentioned above which make the trip more interesting, I have gave some advises to my bro for him to get through this 7 weeks of Pes C training like get to know more friends n dont be too selective. In order to survive, ones need to make more friends n it is this friendship that may help to lighten the mental barrier n loneiness in their mind. Hopefully, I will see a different him when he 1st book out.

Actually how to begin this entry??? After 13 yrs, I finally went back to HK last week for holidays and after this trip, I have made up my mind that it’s time to consider whether to stay in Singapore or return to HK. And my decision is to return to HK. To some, they may say I went through a long way and at the end, I go back to my starting point again and to some, they may feel that I should have done it long long time ago, why wasted that 2 yrs and 4 mths in NS? Just that I feel that if I dont come to this small land, I doubt I would have become the person I am today… Maybe that the price I need to pay? 

In the mean time, while I have just completed my NS, I will be helping my dad in his office. At least to learn things about textile industry from him. Soon, will be planning for another HK trip somehow in June… And most probably I will move back to HK latest by end of this Sept where I will complete my adv dip @SP. Of course, doing business will never be easy and if I ever make it to my dad management level in the company, I will definitely need lots of talent to expand my dad business and talents that I am interested in if possible may range from fashion designers to experience in outlet management, etc…  But, as for now, I better learn hard and work hard to achieve first! 

This trip has a very special meaning to me. After 13 years, this is 1st time I go back to HK, my birthplace. Though the trip was only six days, actually lesser, minus the 6 hrs of flight from and back, I really enjoyed myself. Going back to the place I stay, my previous kindergarden and primary sch in HK, visited a few places. Most memorable is the place my aunt stay. So beautiful and nice. How I hope I stay there.

Other than that, I went back to my dad’s office in HK. Look smaller than I ever seen. Last time it used to be in a office tower, now it moved our own warehouse which is nearby. The condition is quite bad… Is like an office move to the warehouse.

My thought for this trip is that in mind, I already planning to move back to HK. I cant stay any longer in SIngapore. There are more oppunturities there in HK than in SIngapore. My expected date may be the end of this year. But after my part tiem course end which is mid-Sept, I migt make a few more trips there. In teh mean time, I only can work hard, study hard and play hard.
