Yeah… It’s over

Friday, February 24th, 2006

Finally, the exams are over. It has been one wk long n I believe it has enough impact on myself… I mean days where I need to have at least a can of coffee is over. Just that it does have side effect too… I have been having sore eyes for the past one wk… n the worst is a white spot on my left eye lip on the last day of my paper. Whenever I brink my eye, there is this pain to my eyeball. Sigh… it is time that I really need to take a good care of myself. Really… especially maintaining a healthy lifestyle of exercising at least three times per wk… Yeah..

Happy Birthday Peter

Thursday, February 23rd, 2006

Ya.. Finally, my 24th bday has come… I believe my age of 24th will be quite special as compare to the past…

1st thing, I will be completing my National Service in 1 mth time… So, after more than 2 yrs of service, finally I can start counting down. To be exact from the date of my bday is 48 days more to go… including wkends.

2nd thing, it is the age where I need to do more planning… Like looking for full time job, setting more goals for my future and hopefully will be able to reach my goals.

3rd thing, actually till this point… cant think of anything… maybe to be holding one more qualification cert? Think that should be… Though my graduation ceremony for my adv dip is next yr but I am going to complete my adv dip in this yr sept.. So, it may be an advantage for me since I am planning for overseas study.. hehe…

Afterall, the most important thing is I grow older n I cant be as playful as I used to be… hehee… Days that I sit in front of the TV playing Need for Speed Most Wanted for 3 hrs long will be a memory for me… Sad…

Finally, exam is coming over soon..

Whew… One more paper n I am done with it. For the past one wk, I have been on leave to study for semester 2 exam. Thinking back, time flies. It has been almost one year since I started this course. It is really tough n challenging. But I believe it worth the time… But I have to give up on things that I used to be doing like exercising on wkdays… BUT… also, I find that I have more pimples… expecially during days that I have night class n on exams wk.. coffee is like a must have drink in the morning. So.. I think the wk I start to clear my leave, I will need to do a lot of maintaining work for my body… haha…

Who has the rights?

Sunday, February 19th, 2006

I believe what I experienced today (19/02/06) might well happen to anyone of us… It all happened when I need to get a water pump for my luo han fish tank in the morning.

I headed to Marine Parade n plan to park my car at a public car park behind "Sam’s Pet & Aquarium" Shop. I believe those stay in east coast n marine parade areas should know where I am referring to. Just to provide more information, the public car park behind the used-to-be cinema in Parkway.

When I drove in, I noticed the whole car park was full n there was a lady in Blue Honda Civic waiting a few parking lots near the front entrance of the car park. I moved in so as not to block the entrance n at the same time, tried my luck at the back of the car park since someone has been waiting at the front… True enough, I saw a van which the driver n passangers were loading up somewhere in the middle of the car park. So it hinted to me that they were abt to go. So, I put on my left signal light indicating my intention of parking n while doing so, they moved off. So, common sense say that I need to reverse n park my car.. n that’s when "Who has the rights" comes in…

The lady in Blue Honda Civic slowly moved front but that was when half of my car went into the lot then I noticed… While reversing, I noticed she was saying something.. In my mind, I can figured out what she wanted to say n when I alight from my car, that was what she said to me angrily…

"Hey, I have been waiting for parking lot for quite sometime n now you stole the lot. Do you have any courtesy?" she said… To reply that… I simply told her "Does that mean any car moving out whether from front or back, belong to you or you have the rights? Your car is so much away from the lot and that doesnt give you the immediate rights to have it unless you are the nearest among all the waiting cars. Anyway, I am only making purchase at the aquarium shop, you may choose to wait for my lot or other lots if you wish"… She didnt say any more thing but replied back "Never mind…" with a long face… That’s where I proceed on with my purchase which took only less than 10 mins. When I returned, I believed she found the lot that "she has the rights" to park.

At that point of time, there were only two cars waiting n that was hers n mine as it was only 1150hrs. I find it very ridculous that this is how our courtesy apply to… I mean not that I am trying to be rude but if that’s the case, LTA might well introduce Q numbers n earliest numbers get the lot which leave first. That may well solved any unnecessary fight or arguement over a car park lot which made headlines in the newspaper…

Things to do after NS

Thursday, February 16th, 2006

In 2 month’s time, I will be a civilian again… Feel relax yet challenging… How will I survive in a world like this… or i should say in Singapore? Everywhere I go… 1st thing 1st is Money… haha… I believe whenever we go out, definitely we will spend Money like transportation, food… So… my 1st big Q is… How to earn enough per mth before I can spend freely… Maybe if my luck is damn good, I can find one "Sugar Mama", sound not bad… But that’s just joking.

Talking abt my future, my dad spoke to me last night (16/02/06). He recommended me after NS, I may take up some textile related theory lessons from one of the association he knows which I been there before for some lessons before I enlisted. Just that the shocking thing he mentioned was abt my current advanced diploma at Singapore Poly… He started off with when will the time to pay for the school fee n next is he said if not coz I am having a night class, he may "push" me out to overseas. I did plan for that.. just that he ended the conversation by jokingly ask "Can drop out from the course…" which i was like… erm… I am abt to complete it this Sept… Is it too late to ask?

All the time I spent on this course n the petrol he paid for my transportation btw home to SP n back… n… tireless days n nights when I have too many involvements in camp yet need to go for lessons… prepare project reports n exams.. hiyo… maybe he based on my reults. True that so far, I only managed 2x Cs n 1x D… quite poor but not till the extend I want to give up though I have that thought when I 1st got the results.. But not now… Hoepfully, I will be able to work harder for better results. Better go back for revision… Exams next wk n now, still taking my own time revising…

What a day for me. II

This is it… The starting of my year… The year of Dog… And the 1st thing I got was a punctured tyre. Realising it while I was driving to SP for my night class on Thursday (02/02/06). At 1st, I felt something is very wrong. From my house to SP, I will usually go by ECP to AYE. So, while I was driving at 90+km/hr on the expressway, I felt something wrong whenever I passed by any uneven surface e.g. evaporation/condensation metal along the expressway (not sure what is the correct term. Do correct me).  Coz my rear gave me an uneven impact.

True enough, when I reached SP, I noticed my left rear wheel tyre became thicker at the bottom and after compared it with the right side, there I know… it’s time for some exercise since I have been saying I am lack of exercise. haha… It took me abt 15 mins to change. Fortunately, this was not my 1st time. So, I should say I am a "skilled" labour in this field. haha… But not easy, by the time I finished, I was like.. erm.. my whole body was wet, definitely smelly… it took me at least an hr to settle down after I entered the class.

Sigh.. anyway, in life, do expect the unexpected things to happen. Today, thought that I wont be late for class.. Yet, things like this do happen. Luckily I was not in the middle of the expressway. Thanks goodness… :)
