hmm… the weather nowadays are getting more unprerdictable. Early in the morning may rain but in the afternoon, it is hot like oven. Otherwise, it is so hot yet a bit of rainning… Cant take it and for pple like me.. I think I am getting more sentitive to weather change just like today. In the end, while I was driving to SP for my night class at around 1830, my nose start to feel ichy  and watery and suddenly my body start to hot inside and coild outside… That’s where I sense I am falling sick soon since my nose is a good ‘detector’ for any sign of illness.

True enough, half way my lesson, I cant take it and during my break, I asked to go off early. Luckily my lecturer is kind and understanding since recently there are so many outbreak of dengue fever cases as I do feel my forehead to be hot…

Sigh… have been staying in S’pore for almost 13 years… I think I really miss countries with four seasons and I really miss the trips that I had in Japan and S.Korea. So envy them that they have four seasons and not SUMMER throughout. But frankly speaking, pple in countries with four seasons usually have better skin.. I mean they dont seem to have too many acnes.. Anyway, by the time I complete my adv dip, most likely I will plan to return to Hk as my 1st Home… Miss those days when it has typhoon, winter season, etc…

Sigh.. dont really enjoy this sat… first thing in the morning… overslept for my morning jog… dont feel that bad when it starts to rain at 1000 coz usually I will have my breakfast at East Park Mc Donald before I walk back home around that timing too.

The worst was, being scolded by my mum for something that is not my fault! or I should say being scolded w/o a valid reason. My younger bro didnt come home for dinner the night before and he didnt call home to let my mum knows. So my mum cooked his share w/o knowing abt it. Fair enough… by right, my house rule stated that "Any leftover due to not informing early by that particular member will have to consume on the next day if he/she stays at home" and my bro cooked instant noodles for lunch instead… and I myself also didnt realise abt it. When my my mum came home, as if her kitchen was gone… shouted at me n my bro abt why cooked instant noodles where there is the leftover? Then there, all those words like why my two sons are so stupid, dont know how come we are born like that lah… came out from her mouth and nag for more than 20 mins… Hiyo… dont understand why she wanted to make such a big fuss? I was wondering why I am involve too… the night before I was having class and I even come back and eat dinner even though it is going to 2200. Dont she appreciates that?

Sigh… dont understand… and at night… I believe this is my 1st time to have Mc Donald meal as dinner… and thinking I will put on a few kilo if things go like that…

Wow… I am not sure what got into my brain that I start to read Initial D comics and somehow, dare to try this in real life.

At first, I was travelling along TPE and before I turned to the right to join ECP, there was this Honda Odessay in front of me. The way the driver drove look quite weird. Somehow slow and trying to occupy the merging lane early. So, at that moment, patience took control of me.

Once both of us were in ECP… at the fastest lane, I feeel that I were in a situation similar to that of my fav XBOX game "Need for Speed - Underground" and seem like either of us had tap the ‘Up’ button in the directional pad that fuel a street challenge. In the end, I somehow ‘lost’ the race on the straight road coz moderate traffic condition.

What surprise me the most is both of us were heading to Bedok exit. Dont know where I got this idea, I decided to overtake the driver immediately we were in the decelarating lane onwards and through the right hand side of the veh. By the way, I found out that the driver is a ’she’. Before reaching decelerating lane, she actually slow down her veh so much that it is almost going to stop. Which actually made me do a hard braking which I dislike it the most! Maybe that’s why I got angry.

While she took her time to turn, I accelerated more than usual and the distance between her veh and mine is less than 20cm side to side and that remind me of what I read in Initial D comic book that it is not easy to overtake in a turn by the right side as the pushing force is great. But anyway, I did that and luckily, nothing happen to both veh.

Afterall, next time if you happen to take the Bedok exit from ECP heading to City, maybe you may get a clearer picture of what I had mentioned. But I doubt there will be a second time… 

Last Sat, I had a dinner with some of my ex-sp classmates at Fish & Co @ Park Mall, the one opposite Plaza Singapura (Somehow quite near). It was our first gathering since we garduated from SP since 2003. Definitely, there are plenty of stuffs to catch up with one another. About 12 of them came and as usual… Guys are mostly in NS… either in few mths times ORD or still has a long way to go… Gals are in the working world.

I believe most of us will expect what kind of topics we guys talk about if we are NSF. "Hey, where you post to?", " What vocation are you in?", etc… I think w/o fail… even when I meet up with my male sec classmates during weeekend for dinner, the topics are the same. But I think that’s coz in this period of NS life, we have 365 days a yr. In this 365 days, we have 24 hrs a day and 7 days a week are exposing ourselves to all NS-related stuffs. So I think it is hardly we can get out of this. Haha… till we complete our NS? maybe…

Back to the dinner, what I cant forget in my life is before I meet my classmates, I got lost in Dhoby Ghaut MRT station where I tried to meet them at East-West line. I was at North-South line and I spent almost half an hour trying to figure out how to get to another escalator. Sigh… SUPER embarrass… In the end, I told my classmates, "Forget about it, I meet you at Fish & Co instead".

After the dinner, some of us including myself went to watch Fulham vs Man Utd soccer match at one of the pub along  M Sultan road.  That was the night where I could drink beer as if it was plain water. 3 bottles of 330ml beer in 90 mins… To some, it maybe a small case, but to me whom hardly touch beer is something a big case. Haha… luckily I didnt drive that night… I can feel my mind is slightly in blur-mode.

Afterall, it is worthwhile to meet up for some good chat, share experiences, advises or suggest some useful ways to improve life. Hopefully, there would be more of these outings!
